I've used a lot of patterns lately.
Eventually I hope to post some pictures of my older freestyle work, but first I must attempt to extricate those pieces from storage at the parental's homestead. Not a small task.

My aunt has lent me a serger and it was while making this top that I realized sergers cannot DO 'everything'.
Polyester blend. Kimono sleeves. Belt has tapered ends.

Front pleats. Lined bodice. Invisible zipper.

This is what an ENTIRE night of sewing will get you.

The bottom half is made from a pattern, the top... I mostly crossed my fingers and prayed.

Twill. Leather buttons. Fushia satin lining (...picture it.)
When I look at this coat, I can almost feel Christmas.
